Description
As a member of the AMZL ACES PMO BI & Analytics team, you will support the overall optimization of the last-mile operations network in Japan. Through report development using BI tools and data analysis using statistical methods, you will support leadership decision-making.With a mindset of pursuing the truth behind data, you will challenge yourself to analyze from new perspectives beyond conventional frameworks. While deepening your understanding of processes and honing your ability to discover and analyze challenges in a data-driven manner, you will contribute to continuous improvement and maximization of customer value at Amazon Logistics Japan.
AMZL ACES PMO BI & Analytics teamのメンバーとして,日本のラストマイルにおけるオペレーションネットワークの全体最適化をサポートします.BIツールを活用したレポート作成,統計的手法を用いたデータ分析により,リーダーの意思決定を支援します.
データの背後にある真理を追究する姿勢を持ち,従来の枠にとらわれない新しい視点での分析にチャレンジします.プロセスを理解し,データドリブンで課題を発見• 分析する能力を磨きながら,Amazon Logistics Japanにおける継続的な改善と顧客利益の最大化に貢献します.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (QuickSight, Tableau, etc.)
• Extract, aggregate, and analyze data using SQL
• Conduct basic data analysis using statistical methods (mean, variance, anomaly detection, etc.)
• Check data quality and propose improvements
• Create and distribute regular reports
• Respond to analysis requests from stakeholders
• Learn and apply best practices in data analysis
• Share knowledge and create documentation within the team
• Deepen process understanding and contribute to data-driven issue discovery
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field)
- 1+ year of practical experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Science
- Basic SQL knowledge and experience in data extraction and aggregation
- Experience using BI tools (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of statistics (mean, variance, correlation, etc.)
- Basic understanding of data visualization
- Basic communication skills (Japanese and English)
- Eagerness to learn and Bias for Action
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R
- Work experience in AWS environments
- Basic understanding of ETL processes
- Interest in logistics and supply chain domains
- Experience using statistical analysis tools (Excel, R, Python, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of data modeling
- Continuous desire to learn and curiosity toward new technologies
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to take initiative
