Successful candidates must be prepared to relocate to the specified job location in the job posting and will be employed directly under the hiring entity's contractual terms.This role will be part of the Investment & Asset Management Tower for Group Technology, responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and maintenance of all investment and asset management systems, applications, and platforms. The Tower manages the seamless transition of new systems or projects to steady-state operations and takes ownership of key business relationships, providing accurate metrics on uptime, issues, and resolutions.

We are seeking an experience Business Analyst to join our IT team Business Solutions - Public Markets Back mainly responsible for operations and development of SimCorp Dimension (SCD) application. SCD is one of the core application supporting asset management processes at MEAG, from front to back. In this role, you will be focusing on New Product Process (NPP) that enable the introduction and management of new financial instruments and investment products. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and SimCorp Dimension experts, ensuring that new products are successfully implemented in SCD in line with business, operational, and regulatory requirements. You will work across the full project lifecycle - from requirement gathering and solution design to testing, deployment, and operational handover - ensuring that the system setup and processes support the accurate representation, valuation, and accounting of new instruments.
Your Job
- Act a business analyst within New Product Process (NPP) focused on developing and implementing new financial instruments and products in SimCorp Dimension.
- Collaborate with investment and asset management, risk, and operations teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and ensure alignment with SimCorp Dimension's capabilities and data model.
- Support solution design and configuration within SCD, covering instrument setup, workflows, pricing, valuation, accounting, and reporting.
- Work closely with SimCorp consultants, IT developers, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and testing of new instrument setups.
- Conduct or coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of new setups.
- Ensure that all new instrument implementations comply with IT governance, data management, and operational standards.
- Provide subject matter expertise on SimCorp Dimension modules relevant to instrument management, portfolio accounting, and reporting.
- Support project planning, documentation, and progress tracking in collaboration with the project manager.
- Act as a point of contact for resolving functional or technical issues during and after go-live.
Your Profile
- University degree preferably in computer science, finance, mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in investment management or financial IT.
- Strong hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension, ideally including instrument setup, pricing, accounting, or performance modules.
- In-depth understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products, etc.) and their lifecycle in front-, middle-, and back-office systems.
- Experience in international financial reporting (IFRS accounting) and fund accounting.
- Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension data model, workflows, and integration with upstream and downstream systems.
- Experience in project environments delivering system enhancements or new product implementations.
- Experience working with external service providers or SimCorp consultants is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
- Fluency in English and German
