Executive & Office Support
• Provide day-to-day executive assistance to the CEO, including diary management, travel coordination, and meeting preparation.
• Manage general office administration, including HR coordination, finance reporting, and liaising with accountants, service providers and Head Office.
• Facilitate internal meetings and client engagements, including scheduling, logistics, and follow-ups.
• Support a small but growing team (currently three people) in maintaining a well-run and professional office environment.
Research, Reporting & Communication
• Assist with research and drafting of internal reports, presentations, and strategic updates for *** BANK head office and other divisions.
• Translate or facilitate translation of documents between English and Chinese.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly corridor updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support the CEO and Sector Head in preparing high-quality client presentations (substance provided by senior team members).
Coordination & Growth
• Help coordinate client meetings, sector briefings, and internal planning sessions.
• Send finance reports to accountants and ensure timely processing.
• Engage with strategic initiatives and sector themes to build understanding of *** BANK's China-Africa corridor.
• Take on increasing responsibility in client interactions and business development over time.
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
• Fluency in Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
• Experience in research, reporting, or presentation development.
• Ability to manage administrative tasks professionally and independently.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
• Interest in African markets, cross-border investment, and *** BANK's strategic sectors.

• Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial team environment.

Education Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
• A Master's degree or studying towards one (e.g., MBA) is advantageous, especially for candidates seeking to grow into more strategic or client-facing roles.
• Coursework or experience in financial analysis, reporting, translation, or presentation development is beneficial.
• Candidates with international education experience or exposure to cross-border business environments will be viewed favourably.
