The role
An opportunity exists for a Business Finance Analyst to join a high-performing divisional finance team supporting the Australia & New Zealand business.

Reporting into senior divisional finance leadership, this role plays a key part in management reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, and planning , providing timely and meaningful insights to support decision-making across the business. You will contribute to month-end close activities, prepare detailed reporting packs, monitor production and performance metrics, and assist with annual planning and forecasting cycles.

The role works closely with divisional finance officers, FP&A, and broader stakeholders, supporting both local and regional reporting requirements while contributing to ongoing finance and reporting transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing and analysing monthly production and financial performance results by product and business segment
  Supporting profit and loss reviews, forecasting, and annual planning processes
• Maintaining and enhancing management reporting across multiple financial systems
• Preparing executive-level commentary, insights, and presentation materials
  Monitoring key financial and production metrics and providing commercial insights
• Supporting finance projects and ad hoc analytical requests

Ideal skills and experience

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline
• 3+ years' experience in a financial analysis, commercial finance, or management reporting role
• Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail
• Experience working with complex financial systems and large data sets
  Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting and BI tools (e.g. TM1, Cognos, Power BI, Qlik, Alteryx or similar)
  Confident communicator with the ability to present financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience within insurance or broader financial services will be highly regarded
