Commercial Analyst - North Sydney - $125K Package (+bonus)

Your new role

• Partner with senior leaders on strategic, commercial, and financial matters across the B&I portfolio.
• Build commercial scenarios to support retention strategies and sector growth.
• Analyse key contracts, identify commercial improvements, and support client facing negotiations.
• Prepare commercial models and documentation for both internal and client stakeholders.
• Work with operational support teams to quantify action plans, track progress, and provide insights that drive margin improvement.
• Challenge existing business models and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.
• Deliver value add analysis of operational and financial KPIs to support decision making.
• Review client contracts to ensure alignment with proposals, billing processes, and financial terms.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, retention modelling, and broader commercial initiatives.
• Analyse contracts and contribute to strategic and operational improvement plans.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practice across the commercial function.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial finance
• Strong financial modelling and commercial review capability
• Degree qualified and/or currently studying towards CA or CPA
• Prior analytical and/or accounting experience in a private or public company
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team
