A leading global investment bank is seeking a Compliance Advisory professional to join its Corporate Finance Compliance team in Paris. This role offers exposure to high-profile corporate finance transactions and close interaction with senior deal teams in a fast-paced, international environment.

As a key member of the Corporate Finance Compliance Advisory function, you will provide day-to-day regulatory advice to M&A and capital markets teams, supporting complex transactions while ensuring compliance with European regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time compliance advisory support to Corporate Finance businesses, including M&A, ECM, DCM, and advisory activities.
• Advise on regulatory requirements including MAR, MiFID II, conflicts of interest, inside information, and information barriers.
• Support wall-crossings, market soundings, and management of inside information.
• Review transaction-related materials, pitch books, announcements, and marketing documents.
• Advise on new products, transactions, and business initiatives.
• Partner with global compliance teams and support regulatory change initiatives.
• Contribute to policies, procedures, training, and compliance projects.

Requirements

• Experience in Compliance Advisory - Corporate Finance / Investment Banking within an investment bank or equivalent financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of European securities regulation, particularly MAR and MiFID II.
• Good understanding of corporate finance and capital markets transactions.
• Ability to provide pragmatic, commercial advice to senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication, judgement, and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English is essential.
