Ashford Benjamin are pleased to be supporting a global hedge fund who, due to expansion of the business, are hiring a contractor as part of their Control Room team. There will be an opportunity for contract extension or for the position to be made permanent, depending on performance and other factors.

Responsibilities

The Control Room Analyst will work across Wall Crossing, Short Sale Ban & Restricted List Oversight, Surveillance and Monitoring, and Data Management. The job holder will assist in managing market activity, information barrier frameworks, and will perform analysis of large datasets for compliance monitoring. As such, individuals will need to be comfortable using programming tools, such as Python, SQL or Tableau, to perform the tasks required.

Qualifications

To be suitable, you will be a degree educated professional who has circa 3+ years of relevant Control Room exposure which must include technical skills, inclusive of programming/using datasets for analysis.
