Responsibilities
The Opportunity
The main objective of the role is to develop and execute against the licensing strategies to expand PepsiCo’s brand presence in the region through partnerships and merchandising to deliver meaningful and consistent revenue growth for PepsiCo.
Your Impact
As Director of Licensing, LATAM your scope would consist of …
- Strategy & Planning – work with VP of Licensing & Merchandising to develop and execute the long term and short term licensing strategies to maximise revenue and brand influence across the region.
- Business Development - Identify, negiotiate and secure partners and licensing agreements across key product categories within region to ensure revenue growth and brand alignment.
- Partner Management - Manage agent relationship in region ensuring delivering against PepsiCo licensing strategy and key initiatives as well as licensee base ensuring financial and brand compliance and best in class execution of product in market.
- Cross-functional collaboration - Partner with Marketing, Design and Dcomm to drive brand presence and revenue.
- Retail Sales and Marketing - Cultivate and maintain key retailer relationships to deliver against licensing strategy and secure meaningful programs and product launches.
- Market and Trend Analysis – Use consumer insights, market trends and performance date to deliver against licensing objectives and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in launching licensed goods across LATAM region with exceptional contacts with retailers and licensees within the region.
- Experience in wide cross section of product categories (Health & Beauty, Softlines, Food & Beverage, Hardlines).
- Strong experience in managing agent partnerships in the past.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing a portfolio of brands.
- Exceptional communication skills.
