Hays have partnered with a growing Family Office in Dubai who are looking to recruit a Financial Analyst/Accountant to join their team.

Your new role

The Financial Analyst is responsible for the accounting functions of the finance department. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, which includes recording of revenues, expenses, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments of both the Family office and for related client books. The candidate will be supporting financial management functions, including performance reporting, data analysis, budget preparation and control in line with Acceptable Accounting Practices. The role also includes audit liaison, UAE Corporate Tax / VAT and other regulatory compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

• Must be Chartered Accountants / CPA / CMA / ACCA
• Master's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration / Finance, Essential Skills / Competencies
• 5-7 years experience in Accounting
• Financial Accounting and Operations functional competence.
• Good knowledge of the principles and practices of General Ledger.
• Adequate knowledge of accounting systems and software (Microsoft Dynamics).
• Deep understanding of International Accounting Standards (IFRS)
• Knowledge of business consolidations / combinations
