Are you a detail‑driven finance professional with a strong understanding of fund structures, reporting standards, and investment operations? For a leading financial services client in Amsterdam, we are looking for an experienced Fund Controller to join their growing team.

About the Role

As a Fund Controller, you will take full responsibility for the financial oversight of several investment funds. You will work closely with portfolio managers, external administrators, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, smooth operations, and full regulatory compliance. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the governance and performance monitoring of high‑profile funds.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial reporting of multiple investment funds
• Review NAV calculations and liaise with fund administrators
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
• Manage audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Monitor cash flows, capital calls, and distributions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (AIFMD, IFRS, etc.)
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in fund controlling, fund accounting, or financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of investment fund structures (PE, RE, debt, or similar)
• Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Familiarity with Dutch GAAP
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders
• Proactive, structured, and able to work independently
