Job Description

As the Head of Internal Control, your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing an effective internal control framework for the organization.
• Monitoring and evaluating the adequacy of internal controls and recommending improvements.
• Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conducting risk assessments and identifying potential areas of vulnerability.
• Leading internal audits and ensuring timely follow-up on audit recommendations.
• Providing guidance and training to staff on internal control policies and procedures.
• Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to senior management.
• Staying updated on industry regulations and best practices in financial services.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Internal Control should have:

• Strong educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in internal control and risk management practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate with different departments.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
