Job Description

• Responsible for the full oversight of synthetic equity instruments such as total return swaps and customized baskets, ensuring that all resets, financing charges, and related calculations are handled accurately.
• On the regulatory side, acts as the main liaison for compliance matters, preparing and coordinating required submissions like PF, 13F, 13H, and Blue Sheet filings, while also support surveillance and monitoring of trading activity and position limits.
• Maintain an internal "shadow" NAV each month and leading the yearly audit, collaborating directly with external auditors to ensure a clean and efficient review process.
• Manage the fund's liquidity and unencumbered cash, allocating it across money-market products or repo to improve returns while protecting the fund's margin and collateral needs.

The Successful Applicant

• At least a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or finance-related field, with credentials such as CFA or CPA seen as strong advantages.
• A solid understanding of long/short equity hedge fund strategies-covering elements like short-dividend handling, stock-loan economics, and swap mechanics-is essential.
• Experience with institutional-grade systems and comfort working with data, particularly through advanced Excel skills and tools like Python or SQL, would be highly beneficial.
