About our client

Our client is a prestigious investment fund with a strong track record and a global investment remit. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their team based in the United Arab Emirates. The role will focus on special situations investments in global public and private markets, including both equity and credit, with an emphasis on restructuring investment opportunities. What the job involves

• Drive the identification process for potential opportunities, sourcing and screening new investments from origination to execution
• Act as a day-to-day asset manager for portfolio assets, shaping and developing strategy
• Build and manage relationships with current and prospective clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and finance, to ensure smooth transaction execution
• Prepare and present investment proposals and updates to senior management and investment committees

Who we are looking for

• Experienced investment professional from a top-tier special situations, hybrid capital, or tactical solutions investment team, with deal experience incorporating both equity and credit elements
• Proven track record in leading end-to-end deal origination and execution across the capital structure in complex situations
• Deep industry knowledge across a variety of financial instruments
• Versatile communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt effectively to suit the specific needs and preferences of various audiences
• The ability to relocate to Abu Dhabi
