Job Description
- Analyse and optimise portfolio performance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Lead exit planning and execution across portfolio companies (trade sales, secondary exits, IPOs).
- Identify and engage strategic buyers or follow-on investors.
- Develop portfolio-level monetisation strategies aligned with fund objectives.
- Conduct portfolio performance reviews and valuation assessments.
- Oversee transaction structuring, due diligence, and deal negotiation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and portfolio management teams.
- Support strategic reporting to investment committees and LPs.
A successful Portfolio Management professional should have:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investment Banking, or Corporate Development
- Proven track record of successful exits or M&A deals
- Strong expertise in deal structuring, valuations, and portfolio value creation
- Background in healthcare, education, or impact investing is an advantage
- Excellent stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills
- Experience in managing and reporting on investment portfolios.
- A degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- A strategic, high-impact contract role with exposure to a purpose-driven investment portfolio
- Close collaboration with executive leadership
