Description

A postdoctoral fellowship with a FAPESP grant is available at LABEN/UFSCar for the development of the project “Production of polyclonal antibodies against ADAM10 forms”. The fellowship is for 12 months, renewable for another 12 months if the candidate meets the expected performance standards. Evaluation criteria include: (1) adequate fulfillment of all obligations related to the fellowship (https://fapesp.br/bolsas/pd) and (2) performance and scientific production, related to the project theme, adequate for a postdoctoral researcher. The candidate must be available to attend in person for 40 hours per week at the laboratory and have experience in research focused on antibody production, neurodegenerative diseases, and cognition. The position requires skills in writing scientific articles, using quantitative data analysis tools, availability for study trips in Brazil and abroad, a good level of English, proactivity, and good teamwork skills. Postdoctoral opportunities are open to Brazilian and foreign applicants. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Postdoctoral Fellowship, in the amount established by the Foundation, and a Research Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual fellowship amount.
