Your new role
You will take ownership of the firm's operations and play a key role in its growth. This is a leadership position where you will manage systems, people, and processes to deliver speed, accuracy, and exceptional client experience.
- Oversee job allocation, deadlines, and resource planning to ensure smooth delivery.
- Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and coach staff for higher productivity.
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, and client satisfaction programs
- Ensure ATO/ASIC lodgements, trust account management, and professional standards are met.
- Monitor WIP, recovery rates, billing, and debtor control to maintain profitability.
- Drive digital transformation using Xero, FYI, and other cloud tools for faster turnaround.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and leave management.
- Prepare management reports and contribute to budgeting and growth planning.
- 5+ years in an accounting firm
- Proven experience in practice management or senior operations
- Strong knowledge of Xero, ASIC or ATO and practice management tools
- Leadership skills and a process-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
