A well-established, multi-office professional services firm is seeking an experienced Practice Manager Your New Role

Reportingto senior leadership, you will take ownership of month - endreporting, cashflow forecasting, and key finance cycles. You will oversee acapable accounts team who manage day - to - day processing, allowing you to remain focused onanalysis, accuracy, and forward planning.
This isa hands - on, influential role where your insights will shapeoperational and strategic decisions across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver monthly management reporting packs including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and performance insights

Maintain a cashflow forecast, and support annual budgeting and major expenditure planning

Lead, coordinate and mentor the accounts team to ensure processing accuracy and timely completion of obligations

Oversee BAS, payroll tax (QLD/NSW/VIC), superannuation, payroll and contractor payments

Review WIP, disbursements and debtors, ensuring effective billing and recovery processes

Support multi - entity reporting, including property - related entities

Manage annual requirements including STP finalisation, payroll tax reconciliation, WorkCover/iCare, ASIC compliance and trust audit coordination

Maintain robust checklists, controls and reporting standards within Xero and internal systems

What You'll Bring

Strong, hands - on accounting/finance experience (professional services experience highly regarded)

Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret numbers, identify issues early and recommend practical solutions

Confident communicator able to explain financial insights to non - finance stakeholders

High proficiency in Xero and exceptional attention to detail

Proactive, organised and comfortable working with autonomy
