Our client is one Europe's leading investment managers, with various investment strategies across private equity, private credit, and infrastructure. Their private credit team is one of the most established in Europe, meaning the successful candidate will be joining a high performing team that is growing significantly.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly personable and analytical candidate who thrives in a strong deal flow environment and is comfortable liaising and communicating with clients. What the job involves
- Participation across all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, screening, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of private credit investments
- Conducting due diligence reviews of direct lending transactions and private credit co-investments
- Supporting the selection and execution of investments, including the preparation of due diligence reports and investment recommendations
- Presentation of investment opportunities and recommendations to colleagues and internal investment committees
- Ongoing monitoring of existing investment portfolios and preparation of regular investment updates
- Assisting in building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, GPs, and investors
- First full-time experience in private credit, leveraged finance, debt advisory or M&A, ideally within a private credit fund, or international investment bank
- Strong analytical, financial, and quantitative skills with attention to detail
- Strong presentation skills and strong commercial acumen
- A confident communicator who can work well with senior stakeholders and internal teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
