Description
As a core member of our investment team, you will play a crucial role in driving end‑to‑end deal execution, value creation, and portfolio performance across our control buyout strategy. You will work closely with senior leadership to source opportunities, evaluate investments, execute transactions, and partner with portfolio company management teams to deliver long‑term operational and financial growth.Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate new investment opportunities aligned with the firm's control buyout strategy, leveraging industry relationships and market intelligence to identify compelling targets.
- Conduct rigorous financial modeling, valuation analysis, and commercial assessment to develop investment theses and support decision-making.
- Lead and coordinate full-scope due diligence across financial, commercial, operational, legal, and tax workstreams, working closely with advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Support end-to-end transaction execution, including deal structuring, negotiations, documentation, and closing processes.
- Prepare high‑quality investment committee materials and present key findings, risks, and value‑creation levers to senior leadership.
- Partner with portfolio company management teams to track performance, drive strategic initiatives, and implement operational improvements that enhance long‑term value.
- Maintain strong industry knowledge through research, networking, and tracking competitive trends to inform sourcing and portfolio strategies.
- Collaborate effectively within lean deal teams, taking ownership of workstreams and contributing as a key investment member throughout the lifecycle of each deal.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related discipline; MBA/CFA a plus.
- 8+ years of private equity investment experience.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
- High level of ownership, work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deal‑driven environment.
- Demonstrated interest in control buyouts and value‑creation strategy.
- Collaborative and intellectually curious mindset.
- Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and project management skills.
