Job Purpose and Impact
The Process Technician will perform a variety of responsibilities, in production facility assigned areas, including operating mechanical machinery and equipment, performing maintenance and troubleshooting issues, utilizing a broad understanding of varied and multi-dimensional processes. In this role, process technician will be assigned different work areas as needed to ensure production goals are met, support production of quality product and maximize throughput while following all safety and regulatory polices.
Key Accountabilities
- Operate equipment and technology tools in assigned areas of the production facility, backfilling prior areas as needed and utilize a broad understanding of policies and procedures with regular guidance to perform required duties.
- Perform variety of responsibilities in identified areas that may include loading and unloading bulk materials, packaging, terminal operations, mixing, monitoring computerized control systems and making machine processing adjustments.
- Broaden operating procedures knowledge, receive input from peers and provide feedback on clarity and effectiveness of guidance, including procedure documentation.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshoot machine and equipment issues, making adjustments as necessary.
- Record production and inventory activities in computerized systems.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment and control work pace and progress on assigned equipment and processes, requiring awareness of links with other process areas.
- Maintain machine and equipment performance to ensure production output.
- Achieve the unit's key performance indicators and execute activities aimed to achieve KPI.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma degree (D3) in chemical, food, industrial or other relevant engineering field or manufacturing.
- Fresh Graduated or Minimum 2 years-experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge and aptitude to manufacturing.
- Capable of building collaborative working relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to delegate and hold self and others accountability.
- Demonstrated excellence in priority setting and execution skills.
- Other minimum qualifications may apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Medium proficiency with MS Office.
- Familiar in cocoa process.
