Description
Role descriptionAs a QA Manager at UST, you will be responsible for defining and implementing quality assurance strategies across projects, ensuring adherence to UST's delivery excellence standards. You will lead QA teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes to deliver high-quality solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Strategy & Governance
- Define QA approach, standards, and metrics aligned with UST's delivery framework.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and client-specific quality processes.
- Project & Team Management
- Plan, manage, and monitor QA activities across multiple projects.
- Lead and mentor QA teams, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Test Management
- Oversee creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Ensure defect management and timely resolution.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and client teams to align on quality goals.
- Provide regular QA status reports and risk assessments.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvements, implement best practices, and leverage UST's quality frameworks.
- Tools & Automation
- Promote test automation and CI/CD integration for efficiency and scalability.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
- Expertise in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM) and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight timelines.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO, CMMI) and UST's delivery excellence model.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications: ISTQB, PMP, or Agile-related certifications.
- Experience in managing QA for large-scale enterprise applications.
