Employment Type: Permanent Full Time (part time considered)
Hours Per Week: 38hrs (Mon-Fri) 8:30am-4:30pm
Location: Belmont, Perth, Western Australia

Principal Role:
Ideally, you will bring a minimum of 5–7 years of experience in prosthetics, with transfemoral expertise preferred, but not essential. Applicants with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply. We are looking to recruit for two clinical roles, with one role being a Lead/Management position.
The successful applicants will engage in the provision of prosthetic services on site at our clinic in Belmont, which is only 10kms from Perth CBD or external clinics, as required. You will be involved in performing diagnostic and clinical examinations, developing treatment plans as well as consulting, manufacturing, repairing and fitting prosthetic devices.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop individualised prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans by assessing client needs and collaborating with healthcare and technical teams. Manage device design, material selection, fabrication, and fitting to ensure optimal function and comfort.
Provide client education on use and care, maintain accurate clinical documentation and oversee repairs and adjustments.
Coordinate with administrative staff for scheduling and ensure timely communication of component orders and completion of reports and clinical notes.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess: (or have the ability to obtain)
- A Bachelors’ or Master’s Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (or equivalent recognised by AOPA)
- Full Membership with the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA) or similar (OPC)
- Valid driver’s licence and complete standard employment checks, including Police/criminal clearance, WA Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and COVID-19 vaccination.
- Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, while contract roles welcome applicants with an existing working visa.
