Cambrian Finance Ltd is a SFC Type 1 (Trading in Securities) licensed Hong Kong based company that provides services to affiliated companies of the Monterosa Group mainly within the scope of fund marketing service and trade execution in listed securities with focus on South East Asian markets.Cambrian Finance Ltd is part of the Monterosa Group, an independent financial services group with a global footprint, servicing assets of approximately USD 10bn. Relationship Manager Based In Hong Kong
You will join our global Business Development team and work alongside colleagues in our key hubs in Zurich, Dubai and Singapore in a highly integrated, international environment.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of five years' relevant industry experience after graduating. Although we have high expectations, the Monterosa Group is equally committed to investing in exceptional talent and offers opportunities for long-term development and growth.
The Business Development team plays a central role in managing and strengthening existing investor relationships, as well as actively developing new partnerships. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives related to product and market development, assessing and evaluating attractive new business opportunities that support the Group's long-term growth objectives.
Requirements / Experience
To succeed in this highly dynamic and challenging business environment, we are looking for an entrepreneurially spirited team player with the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in business, law or finance, or professional qualifications such as CFA, ACIB
- 5+ years of work experience in the financial services industry (e.g. Family Office, Private Banking, Wealth Planning, Investment Banking, Private Equity)
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must
- Strong client acquisition and retention skills with previous experience in a client-facing role.
- Good communication and presentation skills. Candidate shall be extroverted, communicative, a team player and someone who connects easy
- Intimate knowledge of financial market products (both private and public) and financial market infrastructure
- Good understanding of corporate finance (valuation models, accounting principles, capital structure etc.) and investment documentation
- Keen interest in Economics, Finance and Current Affairs
- Excellent problem solving skills; entrepreneurial and pro-active attitude, ability to think outside the box
- Availability to travel internationally
