REMOTE PART TIME (50%) COMPLIANCE OFFICER - EXPERIENCE IN QA OR COMPLIANCE COVERING ISO 9001 & 27001 AND PSN REGULATIONS REQUIRED

£34,000 Pro Rata Home based (UK)

Our client, a leading IT firm with an extensive network infrastructure via independent data centres and accredited for ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and PSN, now seeks a Compliance officer for to advise and support on Data protection and Policy & Risk management. Reporting to the Compliance Director, duties will include;

1. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and areas for improvements in line with ISO and ETSI standards
2. Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations
3. Carry out information security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and document risks and risk treatments
4. Review change controls to ensure that all changes are authorised, documented and services are not unnecessarily disrupted
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions
6. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
7. Work within the compliance dept to ensure policies, procedures, projects & systems are robust and fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations
8. Coordinate the quality assurance and file review process and escalate within the set parameters
9. Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance and security matters and areas for improvement
10. Monitor and investigate potential compliance violations or breaches
11. Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact firms compliance requirements
12. Assist with internal and external audits as needed

You should be a graduate with experience in quality assurance or compliance covering ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and PSN regulations including experience with conducting investigations. Any exposure to Cyber security useful but more important is an ability to communicate results and information at all levels and influence other business areas to deliver quality results.

Note the role is 18 hours per week (so actual salary is £17,000 PA) which can be done however suits eg 2.5 days in a row if based around other work or else eg mid morning to mid afternoon every day if have childcare/school run needs. Also whilst main role is fully remote, you would be expected to visit the Head Office in Liverpool maybe 3 times a year by arrangement with travel cost & time paid.
