As part of Product Control, you'll play a key role in supporting our trading desks and financial controllers. Your work will directly impact the transparency and reliability of our profit and loss statements and balance sheets. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a fast-paced, high-impact setting.As a Product Control Analyst in the Product Control team, you ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and support our trading desks. You will partner with colleagues across the business to implement robust controls and drive new initiatives. Your contributions help us maintain transparency and integrity in our financial results. Together, we create a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with daily profit and loss reporting and month-end close processes
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
- Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new business initiatives
- Drive coordination across front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and timely
- Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control
- Handle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis
- Maintain strong attention to detail and control focus in all tasks
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships across teams
- Support continuous improvement of processes and controls
- Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a related area
- Experience with profit and loss reporting and month-end close processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated control focus in previous roles
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Solid understanding of financial products
- Experience supporting trading desks
- Advanced Excel or financial systems skills
- Exposure to new business initiatives or process improvements
- Project management experience
- Experience coordinating across multiple teams
- Professional certification such as CPA or CFA
