Role Summary:
As part of the LSEG Microsoft Partnership (LMP), we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team to develop, build, and maintain sophisticated Power BI based data insights. You will work closely with interested parties to understand requirements, transform data from various sources, and develop intuitive dashboards that support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and sophisticated interpersonal skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
Build and continuously improve dashboards and reports, to turn data into insights and enable decision making
Partner with customers and users to understand business needs and define solutions to ensure dashboards provide the right insights to support strategic priorities
Prepare and model data from multiple sources-databases, APIs, and files-into clean, reliable datasets while maintaining accuracy and compliance
Work across teams to integrate dashboards into everyday workflows, making information easy to use
Document data models and processes, so they're clear and easy to maintain
What You'll Bring:
Technical Skills: Strong Excel and Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and SQL are essential to succeed in this role
Familiarity with ETL tools, data warehousing, cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and data sources (SharePoint, Snowflake, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Asana, Cloudability)
Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
A collaborative, detail-focused approach to problem-solving
A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or a related field
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python or R) for sophisticated analytics as well as UI/UX principles for intuitive dashboards would be a plus
