Let's shape the future of wealth management together.As a (Senior) Analyst Performance & Efficiency Management, you will play a key role in enhancing the financial performance and operational effectiveness of the bank. Situated within the CFO division, and as part of the divisional CFO Products & Balance Sheet, this position combines financial steering, strategic analysis, and efficiency initiatives to support data-driven decision-making at senior management level.
In this role, you will work closely with all CFO functions as well as with GPS, CIOO, CRO and with the Front.
YOUR CHALLENGE
In particular the (Senior) Analyst Performance & Efficiency Management is responsible for the following tasks:
- Enhance steering models, performance metrics, and efficiency KPIs
- Drive the continuous development of steering methodology and according tools, processes, and methodologies
- Conduct financial performance analyses across business units and the group
- Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at optimization of financial resources and process improvement
- Develop variance analyses and scenario simulations for steering purposes
- Prepare insightful presentations and decision papers for executive management, including the Group CFO
- Identify and quantify efficiency potential in collaboration with business and support units
YOUR PROFILE
The successful candidate possesses strong experience in financial Performance Management, Treasury or ALM related fields in the financial services industry, preferrable in private or investment banking as well as a strong exposure to steering methodologies and performance metrics development. They deal with ambiguity, drive for results, demonstrate managerial courage, and gladly act as a coach for all kind of stakeholder within and outside of the CFO organization. They are able to work with various stakeholders and create strong and long-lasting relationships.
Specifically, the successful candidate brings:
- Deep experience in bank steering, risk management principles and practices and knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and regulations
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, including financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and insights and extensive experience in transforming data analysis into insights
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) and very good knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven experience in a similar expert role within the financial services industry preferrable in private or investment banking
- In-depth knowledge of banking products, particularly deposits, loans as well as Wealth Management offering
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Visionary thinking person with strong hands-on and solution-oriented mind-set
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Commitment to being a team player, high social competence
- University degree (Business Economics, Engineering) or comparable educational qualification, professional certifications like CFA, CAIA or FRM are advantageous
- Fluent in English, German preferred, any other language skill is a plus
