You will provide leadership and oversight to the Product Cost Office (PCO) group. As the Senior Manager and Group Lead for the Product Cost Office (PCO) in our Core Banking Automation Portfolio Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving cost efficiency and profitability across the entire product lifecycle. This position requires a strategic leader who can establish governance, foster cross-functional collaboration, and deliver actionable insights to optimize costs without compromising quality or compliance.

Responsibilities

• Cost Governance: Define and enforce cost management policies and standards across product development and manufacturing.
• Lifecycle Cost Management: Monitor and control costs from concept design through end-of-life.
• Transparency & Reporting: Deliver accurate cost data and forecasts to support strategic decisions.
• Cost Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining compliance and quality.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a liaison between Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, and Procurement.
• Industry & Competitive Benchmarking: Lead benchmarking initiatives for systems, modules, and components to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Project-Driven Cost Optimization: Conduct comprehensive cost analysis for large-scale sales opportunities, leveraging product configurations to enhance margins.
• Managing a team: Directs the efforts of subordinate managers and / or professional staff, often at the senior level.
• Leadership approach: Coaches, mentors and guides lower-level managers assigned technical staff.
• Solving challenges: Responds to escalated technical, process and other issues.
• Oversee effectiveness: Evaluates team and individual performance, making recommendations and decisions about placement and rewards.
• Working environment: Builds and fosters cross-team and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven experience in cost management within manufacturing or technology sectors.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills (cost estimation, variance analysis).
• Expertise in lifecycle cost management and value engineering.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to drive strategic initiatives and deliver measurable cost improvements.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Fluent business English skills (written and spoken).
• Fluent communication in German language (written and spoken).
• Great overview of SAP.
• Advanced hand on experience with Excel and PowerPoint.

Sie leiten und überwacht die Gruppe des Product Cost Office (PCO). Als Senior Manager und Gruppenleiter des Product Cost Office (PCO) in unserem Core Banking Automation Portfolio spielen Sie eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Steigerung der Kosteneffizienz und Rentabilität über den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus hinweg. Diese Position erfordert eine strategische Führungspersönlichkeit, die Governance-Strukturen etabliert, funktionsübergreifende Zusammenarbeit fördert und umsetzbare Erkenntnisse liefert, um Kosten zu optimieren, ohne Qualität oder Compliance zu beeinträchtigen.

Aufgaben

• Kosten-Governance: Definition und Durchsetzung von Richtlinien und Standards für das Kostenmanagement in der Produktentwicklung und Fertigung.
• Lebenszyklus-Kostenmanagement: Überwachung und Steuerung der Produktkosten vom Konzeptdesign bis zum End-of-Life.
• Transparenz & Reporting: Bereitstellung von Kostendaten und Prognosen zur Unterstützung strategischer Entscheidungen.
• Kostenoptimierung: Identifizierung und Umsetzung von Möglichkeiten zur Kostenreduzierung unter Einhaltung von Compliance und Qualität.
• Funktionsübergreifende Koordination: Schnittstelle zwischen Produktmanagement, F&E, Fertigung und Einkauf.
• Branchen- & Wettbewerbs-Benchmarking: Leitung von Benchmarking-Initiativen für Systeme, Module und Komponenten zur Identifizierung von Optimierungspotenzialen.
• Projektgetriebene Kostenoptimierung: Durchführung umfassender Kostenanalysen für große Deals, durch Optimierung der Produktkonfigurationen zur Margenverbesserung.
• Teamführung: Leitung von Managern und/oder Fachpersonal, häufig auf Senior-Level.
• Führungsstil: Coaching, Mentoring und Anleitung von Managern und technischen Mitarbeitern.
• Problemlösung: Bearbeitung von technischen und prozessbezogenen Themen.
• Effektivität sicherstellen: Bewertung von Team- und Einzelleistungen, Empfehlungen und Entscheidungen zu Positionierung und Vergütung.
• Arbeitsumfeld: Aufbau und Förderung von teamübergreifender und funktionsübergreifender Zusammenarbeit.

Qualifikationen

• Nachgewiesene Erfahrung im Kostenmanagement in der Fertigungs- oder Technologiebranche.
• Starke analytische Fähigkeiten und Modellierungskompetenz (Kostenschätzung, Abweichungsanalyse).
• Expertise im Lebenszyklus-Kostenmanagement und in der Wertanalyse.
• Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und Führungsfähigkeiten für funktionsübergreifende Zusammenarbeit.
• Fähigkeit, strategische Initiativen voranzutreiben und messbare Kostenverbesserungen zu erzielen.
• Bachelor-Abschluss oder gleichwertige Berufserfahrung erforderlich.
• Fließende Englischkenntnisse (in Wort und Schrift).
• Fließende Deutschkenntnisse (in Wort und Schrift).
• Hervorragende SAP-Kenntnisse.
• Sehr gute praktische Erfahrung mit Excel und PowerPoint.
