About the job Settlement and Clearing Role - Global Crypto Exchange

Company

Our client is a global crypto exchange and looking for a Clearing and Settlement Associate / Manager in either Singapore or Hong Kong or Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Settlement and clearing operations: Perform settlement and clearing of various transactions, including confirming transactions, reconciling account balances and executing settlement orders
• Risk Management: Monitor and reduce trading risk and ensure that all settlement and clearing operations comply with market rules and compliance requirements
• Monitor accounting processes: Responsible for overseeing and reviewing financial and accounting processes related to settlement and clearing to ensure the accuracy of all operations
• Dispute resolution: Handling disputes arising in settlement and clearing, coordinating solutions with clients, partners and trading platforms
• Collaborate with the Platform team: Work with the platform's trading and technical teams to ensure that settlement and clearing operations are seamlessly integrated with the trading platform system
• Reports and documentation: Prepare and maintain settlement and clearing related reports and documentation for audit and compliance checks

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years experience in trading platform settlement and clearing
• In-depth knowledge of trading markets, settlement, and clearing processes.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding trading platform operations and market trading processes is preferred
• Relevant financial certification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), is a nice to have
• Bilingual in English and Chinese will be highly advantageous
• Candidates preferred in Singapore, Hong Kong or Malaysia. This is a remote role.
