This is an opportunity to join a highly selective, research-driven environment where software engineers sit at the core of the business-building systems that directly drive trading performance. This team is known for combining deep academic rigor with real-world impact, attracting some of the most talented engineers and researchers globally.
The Opportunity
You'll work on complex, high-performance systems that process vast amounts of real-time data and power trading decisions across global markets. Engineers here operate with real ownership-designing, building, and optimizing systems that are critical to the firm's success.
Work spans:
- Designing ultra-reliable, low-latency systems
- Building scalable infrastructure for real-time data processing
- Developing tools and frameworks used by traders and researchers
- Solving complex algorithmic and distributed systems problems
This is a deeply technical environment where clean code, strong fundamentals, and intellectual curiosity are valued over specific domain experience.

- Interest in performance, optimization, and system-level thinking
Backgrounds we commonly see:
- Top-tier tech companies
- Distributed systems / infrastructure engineering
- High-performance computing
- Academic research (CS, maths, physics)
- Competitive programming / strong problem-solving pedigree
No prior finance experience required.
Why Consider This
- Work alongside some of the strongest engineers and researchers globally
- Highly collaborative, low-ego environment with direct impact on trading outcomes
- Exposure to complex, real-time systems at scale
- Market-leading compensation (base + bonus)
- Relocation support and visa sponsorship available (APAC hubs)
- Opportunities for fully remote roles depending on team fit
- APAC (Singapore / Hong Kong) with full relocation support
- Open to candidates based in the US and Europe
The interview process is rigorous but fair-focused on problem solving, coding, and system design rather than niche domain knowledge.
