Major League Baseball Podcast Host

Do you live, eat, breathe and sleep San Francisco Giants baseball? Are you deeply passionate about the Giants and Major League Baseball? This could be your opportunity to shine! We are seeking a dedicated Sports Podcast Host to lead and produce a daily podcast focused on the San Francisco Giants.

Responsibilities:

• Host and produce a 30-minute podcast episode five days a week (Monday through Friday).
• Broadcast shows live on YouTube and distribute them across all major podcast platforms as well as OTT platforms (VOD and FAST Channels).
• Engage with fans daily, fostering a community around the Giants.
• Provide insightful analysis, updates, and commentary that serves as a trusted source for San Francisco Giants fans.

Requirements:

• A strong passion for Major League Baseball, particularly the San Francisco Giants.
• Excellent communication skills with an engaging personality.
• Experience in podcasting or broadcasting is preferred but not required.
• The ability to connect with fans and create content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Pay Range

$16-$18 USD

Benefits:

TEGNA offers two medical plan options for full and part-time employees through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, as well as access to dental and eye care coverage; fertility, surrogacy and adoption assistance; disability and life insurance.

Our 401(k) program offers full, part-time and temporary employees the opportunity to contribute 1% - 80% of their pay on a pre-tax basis to TEGNA's 401(k). Contributions made up to the first 4% of pay are eligible for a 100% match from the company and are 100% vested from day one.

Regardless of participation in TEGNA medical plans, ALL employees and their eligible family members receive nine free virtual doctor's appointments with a physician through Teladoc, and 12 free annual therapy sessions with a licensed clinician through Spring Health.

TEGNA offers a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit as well as nine paid holidays per year.
