We have a fantastic opportunity for Subsidence Loss Adjuster UK wide.
We are seeking Subsidence Loss Adjusters who can guide customers through complex claims with calm judgement and clear communication. You will support people from their first notification of loss through to settlement, keeping the experience professional, steady and reassuring throughout.
From the outset, you will take ownership of a portfolio of subsidence claims, maintaining firm control from start to finish. Along the way, you will speak with customers regularly, offering timely updates and explanations that help them understand each step of the process. When needed, you will attend site visits to gain first‑hand insight into damage and individual circumstances, ensuring decisions are fair and well informed.
As claims develop, you will review engineers' and surveyors' reports, translating technical findings into straightforward information that customers can easily follow. At the same time, you will collaborate with colleagues, contractors and external specialists to drive investigations and repairs forward efficiently, keeping service quality at the heart of everything you do.
Throughout each case, you will ensure compliance with policy cover, client requirements and regulatory standards. You will keep accurate records, follow established procedures and identify opportunities to enhance the customer journey. By representing Sedgwick's values consistently, you will help customers feel supported, respected and well guided.
This is a new role within the adjusting market, designed to focus on the customer journey and overall claims experience. It is not intended to be a specialist building or surveying role, although we welcome applications from individuals who thrive on providing excellent service.

The skills you will have when you apply:
- A full UK Driving Licence - It is essential you can travel by car
- Claims Expertise - Experience in claims handling or loss adjusting essential, with exposure to property or subsidence claims beneficial.
- Technical Insight - Working knowledge of building construction or property damage, supporting clear interpretation of complex issues.
- Customer Engagement - Strong communication skills with the capacity to simplify technical detail and manage sensitive, emotionally charged situations.
- Organisational Control - Effective prioritisation and time management, ensuring structured progression of casework with consistent quality.
- Relationship Building - Ability to form productive partnerships with colleagues, clients, and external parties, supported by empathy and sound judgement.
- Analytical Precision - Proactive problem‑solving approach with close attention to detail and a commitment to robust, accurate outcomes.
