Job Description

Credit Governance & Risk Appetite:

• Provide independent second line oversight of credit risk decisions and challenge first-line risk actions.
• Maintain and continuously enhance the enterprise-wide credit risk framework for specialised finance, ensuring clear ownership and effective controls.

Credit Approval & Transaction Oversight:

• Approve, manage, and oversee Subscription/Capital Call facilities (including SMA-linked exposures).
• Approve and oversee NAV-backed, hybrid, GP-level, and bespoke fund finance solutions.
• Approve and oversee exposures reliant wholly or partially on Financial Sponsors, including fund managers, General Partners, and Management Companies

Portfolio, Concentration & Performance Management:

• Maintain holistic oversight of Financial Sponsor-related exposures, including relevant non-recourse structures.

The Successful Applicant

• 10+ years' credit risk experience in banking/financial services, with deep exposure to Specialised Finance, Fund Finance, and Financial Sponsors.
• Demonstrated expertise approving/overseeing Subscription/Capital Call, NAV-backed, Hybrid, GP-level, Bespoke fund finance solutions, and CRE Loan-on-Loan.
• Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks, risk appetite management, and regulatory expectations in global banking environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex risk across multiple products and geographies (APAC experience preferred)
• Fluent English required.
