Leverage your deep technical expertise and leadership to play a critical role in advancing LATAM's stability and resiliency strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the region's alignment with global standards.As VP, Payments Tech Program Manager for the Stability & Resiliency organization, you will serve as LATAM's subject matter expert, connecting the region to global best practices in payments technology. You will drive the delivery of complex, high-impact projects, champion operational excellence, and ensure the adoption of innovative solutions that enhance stability, resiliency, and client reliability across LATAM. This role requires technical expertise, deep knowledge of the LATAM payments market, and exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute strategic Payments Technology (PT) - Stability and Resiliency (S&R) initiatives, ensuring alignment with global standards and LATAM business objectives.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, resource allocation, and timelines for technology solutions, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, business, and global teams to define program scope, objectives, deliverables and ensure LATAM's critical requirements are incorporated into global plans.
- Drive the adoption of S&R best practices, agile methodologies, SRE concepts, and automation to advance innovation and operational excellence.
- Conduct business analysis for recurring issues, document requirements, and contribute to S&R continuous improvement.
- Independently assess and enhance resiliency exercises, MEPC event preparedness, and multi-region resiliency across critical applications.
- Serve as the primary LATAM contact for global S&R initiatives, facilitating implementation, knowledge transfer, and acting as the regional SME.
- Support the S&R LATAM Head in running the Regional S&R Forum and tracking action plans to achieve business objectives, ensuring strong governance and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Deep understanding of LATAM payments market and products.
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and practices.
- Strong technical expertise in cloud fundamentals, modern application frameworks, CI/CD, and SDLC methodologies.
- Proven experience managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in agile environments.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience working with technical delivery teams to resolve dependencies and facilitate technical solutions.
- Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fast learner, adaptable to global and regional tools and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
