As part of the Real Estate Asset and Structured Finance Team, you will get to work in a dynamic newly set up team environment and work with a team of professional specialists. This role provides a great opportunity to be exposed to a range of markets and asset types and offers opportunities to excel at structuring. You will report to the Managing Director, Real Estate Asset and Structured Finance and be working closely with a number of highly experienced industry specialists, as well as work independently on a variety of asset classes.

Job Responsibilities
As part of the Real Estate Asset and Structured Finance Team, you will get to work in a dynamic newly set up team environment and work with a team of professional specialists. You will report to the Managing Director, Real Estate Asset and Structured Finance and be working closely with a number of highly experienced industry specialists, as well as work independently on a variety of asset classes.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for end-to-end deal execution: origination, structuring, credit execution and ongoing management of a portfolio of securitization facilities.
• Analyze, structure, and perform due diligence on transactions that vary in complexity.
• Portfolio management of the existing securitization facilities across Asia Pacific; complete periodical transaction reviews, assist with ad-hoc requests from the client and the refinancing and extension of the facilities.
• Manage existing client relationships and contributing to cross sell activities.
• Responsibility for origination of transactions, which includes active client identification and pitching, as well as responding to RFPs.
• Develop recommendations for the appropriate course of action, prepare and present credit submissions, liaise with external legal counsel on documentation.
• Expertise in analyzing securitization transactions, have an ability to develop, maintain and use complex spreadsheet and cash flow models related to securitization transactions.
• Prepare and compile various reports for senior management on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Reporting includes credit facility return metrics, relationship return metrics, risk limits, and annual budgeting and tracking.
• Build the Mizuho ESG brand in becoming a top ESG house in the region as it relates to RASF.

Job Requirements

• 7-15 years of securitization experience in Banking and/or rating agencies with ability to work under limited supervision.
• Strong credit, structuring, and execution skills.
• Strong exposure to Securitization products - ABS, CMBS, Trade Finance securitization, Data Centre securitization.
• Self-motivated, results focused, team player with strong learning ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory capital modelling.
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines in a fast-changing, global and regulated environment.
• CFA preferred.
