Our client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Team Lead to run the BAU while an exciting project kicks off! Your new company

Your new role
You will lead the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable function. Acting as a subject-matter expert, you will oversee transactional processing while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high level of service delivery.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance people management with getting into the detail when needed. You'll act as the go-to person for all things AR, ensuring deadlines are met, processes are running smoothly, and stakeholders are well-supported.You'll also play a key role in looking at how things are done and identifying smarter, more efficient ways of working.

• Leading a small AR team, setting priorities and supporting day-to-day delivery
• Making sure invoices, receipts and statements are processed accurately and on time
• Keeping customer accounts clean and up to date, including reconciliations and issue resolution
• Acting as the main point of contact for internal teams and external customers
• Supporting month-end activities and ensuring reporting deadlines are met
• Keeping a close eye on outstanding debt and driving timely follow-up where required
• Improving processes and helping tighten controls across the function
• Supporting system changes, upgrades, or process improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid background in Accounts Receivable within a medium to large environment
• Previous experience leading or mentoring a team
• Strong understanding of end-to-end AR processes and controls
• Confident working across ERP systems
• Someone who notices inefficiencies and takes initiative to fix them
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
• Good attention to detail
