Description
Responsibilities- Support business/financial intelligence for sector-focused unit (1. Telecom, Media & Technology/Automobile & Industries, 2.Basic Materials Infrastructure and 3. Consumer Products & Retail, Heathcare & Foods) and occasionally co-work with SMBC HQ in Japan
- Develop pitch papers in relation to investment banking products including M&A, alliance
- Partner seniors to visit customers and other relevant organizations in APAC for deal origination
- Contribute to the sector unit and the department to achieve team budget target and KPIs
- Minimum degree qualification
- Knowledge of Corporate Finance and M&A will be advantageous
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong command of English and Japanese is preferred due to nature of job role which requires liaising with Tokyo Head Office
