Field Based Collections Specialist Your new company
An established and growing organisation within the financial services sector is seeking motivated and customer-focused professionals to join its field collections team. Your new role
This is a field-based position where you'll spend much of your time meeting customers face-to-face, building relationships, and helping achieve positive outcomes. You will operate autonomously while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
Key responsibilities include:

• Meeting customers in person and conducting follow-up discussions via phone
• Negotiating and establishing sustainable repayment arrangements
• Building rapport and maintaining professional customer relationships
• Monitoring payment arrangements and managing follow-up activities
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Managing your own schedule and travel requirements
• Travelling nationally as required (once every 5 weeks)

What you'll need to succeed

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to confidently manage difficult or sensitive conversations
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
• A resilient, self-motivated, and results-driven approach
• Experience in collections, customer service, sales, field-based roles, or account management is highly regarded
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Basic proficiency using mobile technology and email systems

Essential requirements:

• Full Australian Driver's Licence
• Background checks will be conducted
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Ability to work a 47-hour week
• Ability to travel interstate for approximately one week per month
