Your new role
An opportunity exists for a customer-focused professional to join a small team as a Customer Service Officer. This role would suit someone who enjoys being front of house, building relationships, solving customer queries and working in a busy, hands-on environment. Flexible hours are available, with either full-time or part-time arrangements considered for the right person. This may suit someone seeking flexibility around family, study or other commitments.

Managing a busy reception area and welcoming customers and visitors to the branch.

Answering incoming calls, taking messages and directing enquiries to the appropriate team members.

Assisting walk-in customers with product enquiries, orders and general requests.

Providing exceptional customer service via phone, email and face-to-face interactions.

Processing customer orders and quotations accurately and efficiently.

Responding to product enquiries and assisting customers with suitable solutions.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Coordinating with warehouse and sales teams to support timely order fulfilment.

Maintaining accurate customer records and updating information within internal systems.

Assisting with general administrative and branch support duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in customer service, retail, internal sales or a similar customer-facing role.

Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping customers.

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment.

Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
