My client is a SGX listed company with regional presence, keen to hire a hands-on and detailed Finance talent with strong SGX reporting experience and ability to work in a lean environment.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant/ CPA qualified with more than 15 years of experience
• Familiar with SGX reporting and managing group level finance responsibilities including Consolidation
• Ability to be hands-on (consolidation is currently done on Excel)
• Able to work in a lean environment (small team)
• Takes ownership of numbers, independent, proactive, team player, able to build good rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Good with process and system improvement

Job Scope

Our client is seeking a technically strong Financial Controller to lead group financial reporting, consolidation, and SGX compliance. You will own the end-to-end preparation of consolidated financial statements, oversee annual and interim reports, and ensure timely submissions to the SGX and relevant regulators. You will manage the monthly group consolidation across subsidiaries, produce the quarterly board pack, and provide technical accounting guidance on complex areas including revenue recognition and share-based payments. You will also work with external auditors, present accounting papers to the audit committee and maintain a strong internal control framework across the group.

You will serve as a commercial finance partner to the senior leadership team, supporting business strategies, potential acquisitions, as well as process and system improvement initiatives. You will ensure the compliance of accounting policies across the group and oversee internal control and disclosure requirements. The ideal candidate combines deep technical accounting knowledge with business acumen and stakeholder management skills to operate effectively at Board level in a listed Group environment.
