Operations Administrator opportunity for an experienced administrator Your new companyThis business is a family owned and operated business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects and exceptional service. With a collaborative and supportive culture, they are seeking an organised and proactive Operations Administrator to join their team and play a key role in supporting day-to-day business operations.Reporting directly to the Director, this position offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects while helping drive efficiency, organisation and operational excellence across the business.
Your new role
As the Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support across multiple projects and business functions. You will be instrumental in ensuring project documentation, reporting, procurement records and administration processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support across multiple projects and operational activities.
- Maintaining project documentation, registers, trackers and filing systems.
- Coordinating document control processes and ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
- Preparing reports, spreadsheets and project-related documentation.
- Monitoring project milestones, deadlines and outstanding actions.
- Assisting with project planning, setup and implementation activities.
- Raising and tracking purchase orders, invoices and project-related expenditure.
- Maintaining procurement records and coordinating supplier documentation.
- Assisting with contract administration and project record management.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinating the distribution and management of project information and documentation.
- Maintaining compliance records and supporting quality assurance processes.
- Identifying opportunities to improve administrative systems and operational processes.
- Supporting the Director and wider team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous experience in an Operations Administrator, Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience maintaining documentation, reports, registers and databases.
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment.
- A varied and autonomous role with exposure across projects and operations.
