Description
This is a high-impact role for trading and research. It will specialise on market microstructure, strategy development, and performance research.RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- To design, refine, and implement trading strategies that profit from market microstructure inefficiencies and superior execution.
- Market microstructure research, order book dynamics, liquidity provision, and minimizing trading costs (like adverse selection).
- Be an integral part of a collaborative commodities desk, working closely with senior traders, researchers, and engineers.
- A hybrid role combining hands-on research (backtesting, analysis) with direct trading responsibilities (monitoring performance, managing inventory).
- A quantitatively-rigorous individual with 3-6 years of proven experience in a similar setting, who is not just a theorist but someone whose research has directly translated into measurable trading profits.
