Our client is a leading investment platform managing both RMB and USD funds with total AUM of ~30 billion RMB. Our team consists of 20+ investment professionals and 50 staff overall, with a strong focus on high-tech and AI sectors.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Associate (Public Market) with ~5 years of buyside experience to join our investment team. The candidate will report directly to the Portfolio Manager and take ownership of industry coverage and stock selection within the high-tech and AI space.

Key Responsibilities

1. Independently cover specific industries and listed companies in the high-tech/AI sector.
2. Conduct deep fundamental research, build financial models, and generate investment ideas.
3. Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments.
4. Present investment recommendations to the Portfolio Manager and broader team.
5. Collaborate with colleagues across RMB and USD funds to align strategies.

Qualifications

1. Outstanding academic background (top-tier university, finance/economics/engineering preferred).
2. ~5 years of buyside experience (private equity, hedge fund, or family office). Mutual fund backgrounds not considered.
3. Strong analytical and modeling skills; proven ability to generate actionable investment ideas.
4. Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Fluent in Mandarin and English; Cantonese a plus.
