Your new role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely end-to-end payroll services to a large employee workforce.Your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-end payroll processing
• New starter onboarding and employee setup
• Processing employment changes and payroll data updates
• Leave administration and entitlement calculations
• Processing payroll terminations
• Workers compensation and payroll-related adjustments
• Salary packaging administration
• Maintenance of employee masterfile data
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards and employment conditions
• Responding to payroll enquiries and providing high-quality customer service
• Supporting audit requirements and payroll reporting activities

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and employment conditions
• Experience interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment contracts
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work to strict deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Payroll system experience, including large ERP or payroll platforms
