Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product Lifecycle & Roadmap Management: Define SDS product specifications, manage product positioning, and handle New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with hardware/software design, engineering, and validation teams to ensure hardware aligns with SDS architectures.
- Partner & Ecosystem Engagement: Build and maintain strategic alliances with SDS ecosystem partners, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and channel partners to expand market reach.
- Go-To-Market & Sales Enablement: Technically support Sales Representatives and Field Application Engineers (FAEs) in pre-sales, customer meetings, and proof-of-concept (POC) rollouts to drive revenue.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in server system products, enterprise storage, or data center solutions, with a strong background in hardware/software integration.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of Software-Defined Storage (SDS), Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), All-Flash NVMe arrays, and clustered file systems.
- Engineering Background: Typically requires a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical disciplines.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for enterprise clients.
- Ability: Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure customer environments with strong business judgment and problem-solving capability. strong technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to drive investigations and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Language: Speaks fluent Japanese and English. If the individual can speak Chinese, that will be an advantage too.
