Description

Our client is a global investment bank who is looking for a senior Financial Accountant to join its regulatory reporting team based in Hong Kong, reporting to the head of department.

As part of this finance team you will be responsible for :

• Review and supervision of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for Hong Kong and the China entities covering IFRS and US GAAP accounting.
• Manage monthly FRR regulatory reporting to the SFC
• Review and implement new accounting standards covering US GAAP and IFRS
• Review and approve new product request from an accounting and regulatory perspective
• Apply expert knowledge in consolidations
• Maintain and enhance the control and governance framework whilst leading the improvements of process and control.
• Management of the offshore reporting team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years experience working in financial reporting within a global bank, be CPA / CA qualified with strong IFRS, US GAAP and FRR reporting.
